Internships
Professional Experience: Where Cross-Cultural Learning Meets Real-World Impact
Thailand Experiences internships aren’t just about gaining work experience abroad — they’re about developing the cross-cultural competence that transforms how you approach professional relationships everywhere.
Why we are more affordable
Most international internship providers operate from expensive offices in the US, UK, or Australia, then mark up their fees to cover those overheads. We’re different:
Thailand Experiences is 100% Thailand-based. Our team lives and works here, which means:
- No expensive Western office rents
- No inflated salaries passed on to you
- Direct relationships with Thai partners — no middlemen taking a cut
- Local knowledge that prevents costly mistakes and inefficiencies
- The result? You get more support and better quality internships
Most international internship programs drop students into workplaces and hope for the best. We do things differently.
What Makes our Internships Different
Most international internship programs drop students into workplaces and hope for the best. We do things differently.
Everyone teaches. Everyone learns. Everyone grows.
Structured Cultural Preparation
Before you step into a Thai workplace, you’ll understand the invisible frameworks that shape Thai professional culture:
- What does collaboration look like when directness is considered rude?
- How do you build trust in a culture where relationships matter more than contracts?
- Why does “yes” in a meeting sometimes mean “I hear you” rather than “I agree”?
Sustainable Partnerships, Not One-Way Streets
Our Thai partners aren’t just hosts — they’re active participants in a mutual exchange:
- Thai supervisors and colleagues gain exposure to international professional practices and cross-cultural communication skills
- Local businesses build sustainable partnerships that continue beyond individual placements
- Community organizations gain recognition for their expertise while shaping how global issues are understood
Expert Thai Support Team
Our staff bridge both worlds. They’ve spent years helping international students navigate the nuances of Thai professional culture — and they’re with you every step of the way.
