Application Process
Ready to launch your internship journey in Thailand? Here’s your step-by-step guide to joining the Thailand Experiences Internship Program.
Step 1: Complete the Application Form
Start by filling out our online application form. We’ll ask you about:
- Your academic background and field of study
- Your internship interests and career goals
- Preferred internship duration and start date
- Any relevant experience or skills
- What you hope to learn and achieve in Thailand
Take your time with this—it helps us understand you and find the perfect internship match.
Step 2: Schedule Your Consultation
Once we receive your application, we’ll reach out to schedule a consultation call. This is your chance to:
- Discuss your goals and interests in more detail
- Learn about internship options in your field
- Ask questions about living in Thailand
- Understand program logistics, housing, and support
- Get a feel for whether the program is right for you
This conversation is relaxed and informal—we want to get to know you and help you make an informed decision.
Step 3: Secure Your Spot with a Deposit
Ready to move forward? A $100 deposit will reserve your place in the program and allow us to begin the internship matching process. We’ll provide you with:
- Payment instructions and amount
- Deposit deadline
- Refund policy details
Your deposit shows our partner organizations that you’re committed, so they can begin preparing for your arrival.
Step 4: Internship Matching and Offer
Now the exciting part begins! Our team will:
- Search for internship placements that align with your goals and skills
- Connect with partner organizations on your behalf
- Present you with internship options and detailed role descriptions
- Answer your questions about specific placements
Once you accept an internship offer, we’ll finalize the details with the host organization and provide you with a formal placement confirmation.
Step 5: Complete Your Payment
With your internship confirmed, it’s time to complete your program payment. We’ll send you:
- A detailed invoice
- Payment schedule and deadline
- Information about what’s included in your program fee
Your program fee covers internship placement, pre-departure support, on-site orientation, housing assistance, in-country support, and cultural activities.
Step 6: See You in Thailand!
You’re all set! In the weeks leading up to your departure, we’ll provide:
- Pre-departure orientation materials
- Visa guidance and documentation support
- Packing tips and cultural preparation resources
- Arrival logistics and transportation details
- Housing information
