About Us
Thailand Experiences Mission and Vision
At Thailand Experiences, our strength lies in a small, dedicated team with deep roots in Thailand and a shared passion for cross-cultural education. Each of us brings a unique background and perspective, united by a commitment to creating life-changing experiences for every student who joins us.
David Jackson — Director
David was born in the UK and moved to Colorado at 16, where he completed high school and earned his B.A. An avid traveler, his first instinct after graduation was to head to Asia. He volunteered and lived with a family in Kathmandu before making his way to Thailand, where he quickly fell in love with the country and its people.
For more than 20 years, David has called Thailand home. He has worked as a teacher, a development officer in NGOs, and with volunteers and study abroad programs across the country. He holds an M.A. in Asia Pacific Studies and an M.B.A., and is fluent in Thai.
David founded Thailand Experiences because he believes that living and working in a different environment is one of the fastest ways to grow. It challenges how you think, how you communicate, and how you solve problems. He loves working in international education because he gets to be part of so many life-changing experiences in the land of smiles.
Thamonpat Cooperider — Program Manager
Thamonpat brings an international perspective and strong organizational skills to her role as Program Manager. With a Master of Social Science (M.S.S.) from Denmark, Thamonpat combines academic training in social development with hands-on program coordination across Thailand Experiences’ portfolio of semester, faculty-led, and custom programs.
Thamonpat plays a central role in program logistics, partner communication, and ensuring that every program runs smoothly from start to finish. Whether coordinating with university partners, managing on-the-ground details, or supporting students throughout their time in Thailand, Thamonpat is a vital part of the team.
Ann Rungsinee — Bangkok Site Director
Ann oversees all Bangkok-based operations and serves as the primary point of contact for students and partners in the capital. She holds an M.A. from the UK and previously worked with JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), giving her deep experience in international development and cross-cultural collaboration.
Ann also holds JLPT Level 2 certification in Japanese, reflecting her multilingual abilities and commitment to bridging cultures. Her professional background, calm leadership, and warm approach make her an invaluable guide for students navigating life and learning in Bangkok.
Adisorn Dechaboon — Chiang Mai Site Director
Adisorn leads operations in Chiang Mai, Thailand’s cultural capital in the north. With a B.A. in Japanese, Adisorn brings a cross-cultural sensibility and a deep connection to the Chiang Mai community that enriches every program based in the region. He has worked in the field for 12 years.
From coordinating excursions and homestays to managing local partnerships and supporting students day-to-day, Adisorn ensures that the Chiang Mai experience is authentic, safe, and memorable. His local knowledge and hands-on approach are central to the quality of programs in the north.
